Purchasing with The Little Jewellery Box
All payments are made through PAYPAL, ensuring a secure and encrypted service. You can pay using your credit or debit card or alternatively you can use funds from your own paypal account.
Paypal requires registration for first time users, however this should be simple and very straight forward. Payment is required in full at time of ordering.

We do not store or have the facility to store your card details. For further information regarding paypal, you can visit

Most of our designs are specially made to order and we have a current turnaround time of up to three weeks. This of course may be a lot quicker and we will do all we can to accommodate urgent requests. Please contact us first prior to placing your order.

Some of our hair accessories are supplied by Euphyllia, who are providers of stunning high quality wedding jewellery and hair accessories.

In the rare event that a product is not available due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be contacted with possible alternatives. If these are not suitable you will be offered a full refund.

By submitting your order you are agreeing to the purchase of goods at the price and terms stated and are allowing us to pass your address details onto carriers in order to supply the goods.

We never pass details onto third party marketing companies!

You must ensure that all of your details including name, address, post code, email address, card and payment details are accurate when placing your order. If you have an existing account with paypal, please ensure that your address details are up to date.

Customised Designs
We will do all we can to assist you if you would like to alter one of our standard designs in any way.  This may be the size, material, colour, metal etc, etc. Where possible we will make our designs in the metal of your choice, whether it be silver plated, gold plated, sterling silver or 14kt gold filled.  An additional charge may apply. Please feel free to contact us using our contact form or via email to request your change or preference.

Many of our earring designs come with the choice of ear posts or hooks and you can indicate your preference in the options box on the shopping cart when placing your order.


Delivery Times

Most of our pieces, particularly in the bridal and occasion range, are made to order and therefore may have a turnaround time of up to 3 weeks.  Items may of course be finished earlier than this and will be sent to you as soon as complete. We always work to get your order to you as quickly as possible, without compromising on quality.

If you require an urgent order please email us prior to placing your online purchase to check that the turnaround time is possible.

We will not take responsibility for late or non-delivery of items outside of our control.

Packages are sent by recorded delivery and will require a signature on delivery. If you are unable to sign for your items, your package/s will be held at your local royal mail sorting office. UK recorded delivery items will be held for 7 days. If a package has been returned to us because delivery was not possible, the cost for re-sending will be the responsibility of the customer. International orders will be sent via airmail. Please contact us for postage cost before placing order.


Postage & Packaging
All UK items are sent using 1st class recorded delivery. This is a speedy service which needs to be signed for upon receipt, however we of course cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen Royal Mail delays out of our control.

The standard postage and packaging charge on our website is currently £2.99. This applies to items sent within the UK. If you are outside the UK, please contact us prior to placing your order. The postage cost will need to be adjusted accordingly. Items will be sent by airmail.

All of our jewellery and hair accessories are sent in a pretty gift bag or box and will be safely padded and packaged to prevent any damage being caused during delivery.
Please contact us within 2 days in the unlikely event that your item is damaged during transit.


Payment
For peace of mind and security, all payments are processed on our website through Paypal. We are happy to accept credit and debit card payments made via Paypal. Returns Policy
Standard Designs - If you are unhappy with your purchase, the item must be returned to us unworn and in its original condition and packaging, within 14 days. A refund will then be issued, minus the original postage and packaging charge. Please contact us first to let us know and to obtain a returns code. Costs incurred in the return of any item will be the responsibility of the purchaser. In the event that the goods are not received - lost, the costs incurred are that of the purchaser. It is advised to always obtain a receipt of posting from the post office in the event that you need to submit a claim to them. If an item is damaged during transit, the buyer is responsible for claiming with Royal Mail.

Customised Designs
- Some customised designs with a change of size, colour, material etc, are unable to be returned, as they cannot always be re-sold. You will be informed of whether this applies to your piece when discussing any alterations. Please check your design info carefully when ordering so that no errors are made and to ensure that you are happy with your customisation choice.

For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned.

We reserve the right to refuse return and refunds should we suspect an item has been worn or that our refunds policy is being abused.

Our Liability
We will not be held responsible for any losses incurred from the use of our website or inability to use our website correctly, or alteration to your transmission which is beyond our control.

We will not be re
sponsible for loss of profits, expenditure, corruption of data, destruction of data, or any loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong. We make no promise that the website will not be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Our website contains links to other websites which are not under our control. We may change or withdraw any part of our website, or may refuse access at any time if we feel necessary.

Security and Confidentiality
We recognise that our customers value their privacy and we therefore take security and privacy rights very seriously. Information obtained during our course of trading will be kept strictly confidential. No information will be passed onto third parties except in the following circumstances:

- as required in a court of law
- if required by a bank or credit card company to verify authenticity
- if required by a courier in order to contact you regarding delivery


Pricing
We reserve the right to amend prices in the event of error or if our costs are increased due to material supplier price increases.
